Intuitive Eating Isn’t Just About Food. It’s a Paradigm Shift That Will Impact Your Entire Life.

Intuitive eating teaches you to reconnect to yourself. Yes food, but it’s so much more. It helps us listen to our signals. It’s all about Interoceptive awareness - that’s awareness of inner body sensations, using our senses to receive, access & appraise internal bodily signals. That’s why I’m so persistent with this message as a psychology and counseling professional! It’s about healing and connection and empowerment!

With our relationships with food, intuitive eating focuses on challenging thoughts and conditioning from diet culture, it focuses on sensations like hunger and fullness and discomfort. It focuses on emotional awareness and eating. It helps us attune into our inner wisdom and to honor ourselves.

Now apply all of this wisdom to LIFE. This process isn’t just about food! It’s also about:

Intuitive eating helped me heal my relationship with food and recover from anorexia orthorexia and bulimia. But it’s role in my life for the last 14 years is more than food. It’s taught me how to think. It’s taught me cognitive flexibility. It helps me be more conscious and present. It’s helped me learn to feel and stop fighting and controlling.
