Intuitive eating is researched and evidence based - a way to reclaim your relationship with food.

“Intuitive Eating” (book by Evelyn Tribole & Elyse Resch): IE aims to reconnect us to instinct and intuition. Intuitive Eating aims to get you back in touch with your body's own signals.

The Book proposes 10 principles to guide you:

You can have intuitive eating down intellectually, but it’s about embodiment. It’s a *journey* of reconnection to self. It’s about food, yes, but the big picture is also embodiment of emotion. The big picture is about interoceptive awareness - which means mindfulness and connection to your internal sensations and processes. Once you have empowerment with food and trust your judgment again, it ripple affects your whole paradigm. My goal on Instagram is often sharing the basics of intuitive eating, like pointing out that diet culture is a thing.
